IBF NegFast Negative UV Plate for CTCP Devices and Contact Frames

NegFast is a high performance UV exposed (360-405nm), high performance negative plate, for use in CTPs, or conventional contact print-down frames. Especially designed critical work, the NegFast plate can print up to 250,000* impressions, delivering stability and quality from start to finish, even on the most abrasive substrates.

Suitable for sheetfed or web presses (cold-set including newspaper or heat-set), the IBF NegFast plate provides quick start-ups for every job. The plate has excellent ink/water balance, minimising waste and printing time.

The NegFast plate is suitable for all types of prepress situation, be it conventional contact frames or the latest CtCPs equipment with ultra violet lasers; hand development or the use of any type of negative processors on the market. Negfast has a strong colour change enabling visual verification of exposure and excellent contrast after development. The plate requires a yellow safelight pre-press environment.

The IBF NegFast plate has excellent resolution, reproducing 1% to 98% dots at 200 lpi. and provides the printer with a fast, efficient and economical solution. Processing uses a mild developer requiring low replenishment rates and no anti-ox. as well as a long bath life giving significantly lower consumption and disposal volume when compared with positive plates.
